‘The Problem Is … I’m Not the Emperor of the United States’

In a Google hangout last evening, President Barack Obama explained that his problem is that he’s “not the emperor of the United States”:

“This is something I’ve struggled with throughout my presidency,” said Obama. “The problem is that I’m the president of the United States, I’m not the emperor of the United States. My job is to execute laws that are passed.”

Say what you will, but BO is a very politically savvy person, that knows how to manipulate. He has nearly the full control of the media and 50% of the American population that has been deceived by his slick words (sort of reminds you someone else that is coming to this world to rule…). He knows what he is doing. He hates this country and is a very cunning Marxist that knows how to play the masses. He along with others like him in ideology are pushing the conservatives as far as they can until something could break out that would give them the authority to impose something like a FULL dictatorship upon us. He wants to be emperor and hates the thought of checks and balances. But so does half the country, and he will play the race card, and anything else he can to get what he wants. He will reap what he has sown – if not in this life, in the next.

Tom, you've got it right. I belieive the powers that be also had some degree of control over GW Bush, and ditto for most of the previous presidents. It's not about the Republicans or Democrats. It goes way above that and those power brokers just want to stay in the shadows so they can continue to manipulate the sheeple. BO just came along at the right time. The power brokers have been working on this for a long time and the conditions ripened and BO fit the persona they needed. They groomed him and his Marxist upbringing and disdain for this nation of freedom and free enterprise was just what they needed. He may realize who his beholden to or he may be a dupe. No matter, they still moves their agenda forward closer to their ultimate goal of One World Government.

Don't repeal! Add requirement that anyone running for President, there are no "sealed" documents; i.e., birth certs, passports, college transcripts, college admission records & political/social orgs. This will help with the transparancy problem. And while wer'e at it, 2 terms for Senatores – 4 terms for Represenatives. This will eliminate the likes of Harry Reid & Nancy (Botox gone bad) Pelosi.

According to HIS own words," My job is to execute the laws that are passed". So why is HE passing laws by Executive Order & getting away with it????? That's a total abuse of power! He's overstepping his authority!

But of course, there's nothing wrong with George Bush wishing he was a dictator…

W never wanted to be a dictator. He did the job of president without overreaching like the ONE. W did not want the dept of homeland security and only agreed to it when the public, the congress and the media pushed it. Unfortunately, that POS dept is just the opposite of what America needs. Read the works of Benjamin Franklin. He predicted the actions of the cowardly public.

Oh please. GW made the dictator "joke" more than once. Your memory is very short. Following 9/11, Gary Hart was salivating to report for the CFR, "…this might be the opportunity Bush Sr. called for in front of the UN, "…to create a New World Order" (Nazi term.) The DHS (secret police) idea had been sitting with the CFR as a policy paper for 11 years prior, just waiting for the right circumstances to be implemented. Not only did GW give US DHS & TSA, he tried to give US TIA (Total Information Awareness/"spy-on-your-neighbor" but the last one failed to get any traction with the people, however NSA communication and internet surveillance has moved forward.

For heavens sake – of course, we don't want any president to usurp any power from congress and/or the supreme court. Executive orders have gotten so out of hand – that law seems to only work if a president is very, very judicious in his/her use of it. I would like them to take a look at the wording and consider some sort of check and balance on it. Please remember when the opposition is in power that a president has set precedents and they seem to be almost as strong as a constitutionally passed law and a new opposition will not be one bit happy with that!
